Albert Murray was most likely born in New Brunswick, Canada, though his death certificate lists Nova Scotia. However, this information came from Walter Orr who did not seem to even realize Albert was his half brother as he leaves the name of Albert’s mother blank. Walter also mistakenly lists his mother’s first husband as her father on her death certificate. Albert’s mother is confirmed on his WWI draft registration as he lists Catherine Orr with the relationship of Mother. At the time of that draft registration, Albert gave his occupation as a blacksmith working for J. M. Blaisdell in Franklin, Maine. His death certificate lists his occupation as stone cutter. He never married, is listed on no census and died in 1938 at the age of 55 from a carcinoma of the stomach. The duration of this illness is given as two years.
