Johann Jacob Krum, aged 68, was on the lists of 1711 at Marienberg with two sons: Paulus, age 25 and Bast, age 22.

"He is mentioned several times in the history of Marienberg church.  On Page 26 the listing is Johann Jakob Krumm in Marienberg, 1674-1682.  On page 52 he is described as being quarrelsome and arguementative regarding a dispute over his use of church land for the grazing of his cattle.  on page 281, he is described as the carpenter who built a two story barn and stable in the courtyard of the church parsonage and received 30 guilden for his effort.  His brothers Johannes and Peter are also mentioned in the book" --J N Crum
