Father:
Johann Henrich KRUMIt would be easy to assume that the Henry married to Christine was this Henry. But Henry, his father, died in testate, and his heirs drew up an agreement for the division of his property. In all of these court records, Henry's wife is given as Jane. Henry's grave has not been found, but at the Church of God, Linglestown, there is a marker to Jane, Wife of Henry Crum, May 13, 1779-July 30, 1878. If Jane was the wife of Henry, she was ten years older than her husband.

Sara
Grogg was born in Liberty Township and judging from records of her travels, must
have lived an interesting life. She married George Ambrosier at the age of 19,
probably because she had become pregnant—there is only seven months between the
date of their marriage and the birth of their first son Abraham G. Upon their
marriage, they were given land in Sulpher Springs by Sara’s father, Abraham
Grogg. At some point the family sold the farm and began to move west. At the
death of her father in April of 1887, she is listed as living in Binggold
County, Iowa. In her mother’s obituary in 1897, she is listed as living in Hill
City, Kansas. There are also references in various family histories of George
Ambrosier working on ranches in Montana as well as spending time in Mountain
Home, Idaho. Her husband died in Hardtner, Kansas in 1931 at the age of
eighty-three when he is said to have been drug to death by a team of colts;
though what he was doing breaking horses at that age is anyone’s guess. Sara
Louisa Grogg survived her husband until 1938 when she died in Cheyenne Wells,
Cheyenne County, Colorado.
Children of George Ambrosier and Sara Grogg are:
Abraham G. Ambrosier, b. 30 November 1868
Dora E. Ambrosier, b. October 1870.
Almeda Amanda Ambrosier, b. 30 November 1873.
William W. Ambrosier, b. 14 July 1875.
Bertha L. Ambrosier, b. 08 June 1880.
Fred B. Ambrosier, b. 28 October 1885.
Minnie Mable Ambrosier, b. 22 December 1887.
