Father: Andrew ALLENConvicted of Witchcraft and hung during the Witch Hysteria in Salem. Ostracized and warned out of Salem in 1690 as a carrier of smallpox. She and four of her children were accused of witchcraft in 1692. Part of the evidence against her was that she was connected to a proved witch (her sister Mary [Allen] Toothaker confessed to being a witch).
