First Congregational Church records of Marblehead, Massachusetts list the baptism of Joseph Boobyar as 6 February 1703.  2^nd Congregational Church records list his marriage to Marcy Stacey on 8 February 1724/5.  In 1733 he and his brother, Christopher transferred some property, which they had received from their father.  At that time, Joseph’s profession was recorded as “fisherman.”  Joseph died while his children were still young, the oldest being fifteen and the youngest three.  His wife was appointed administratrix of his estate on 30 December 1741.

Alice FROST

In 1633, Alice got into a dispute with Sudbury church authorities and on 18 February of that year She was charged with Contempt of Ecclesiastical Laws before the Court Of High Commission. She was fined 100 pounds. Neither she or her husband could raise the money, and they hastily moved to London and appealed the verdict. On 26 June 1634, Alice Blower of London, "having long since removed from Sudbury where the offense was given, to London, whereby the scandal was taken away, she was dismissed".
