Father: John BELGRAVEThere is, in general, some confusion in regard to Thomasine and her husband, Edward Frost. They are often mistaken to be Edmund Frost (b. 1610, d. 1692) and his wife, Thomasine.

Father: George BIXBYIn 1674, in a deposition, Joseph Bixby stated his age as fifty four years. (Essex County Court files, 21:140), so that would place his birth in 1620 or 1621. He arrived in Ipswich, Massachusetts in 1647 where he married Sarah Heard (widow of Luke Heard), though he was in America probably much earlier than that. At the age of 15 (about 1636) he became an indentured servant to pay for his passage to Massachusetts. By 1638, he must have been removed from Suffolk as his name does not appear on the muster of Babergh Hundred in that year, which should have embraced all able bodied males between the ages of sixteen and sixty, and on which his father's name appears. In 1660 he moved to Rowley Village, now Boxford. He was a member of the Topsfield Company of Militia and was made sergeant in 1666. He died in Boxford, April 19, 1700. His will is on file at Salem, Massachusetts, together with the inventory of his estate which showed a total of L149 4s. 15d.
