Christopher BOOBYAR

Christopher Boobyar was baptized in Marblehead on 16 June 1706 and according to Bubier Family Notes he became a businessman in life.  He also served as Clerk for the meetings of the Proprietors of Marblehead Neck beginning in 1749.  He married Margaret LeVallier 30 October 1726 and a number of their sons went into business with him. Christopher and Margaret were both alive to celebrate their 56^th wedding anniversary.  At the time of his death, his estate was appraised at £758 10s 2d.  He died 30 June 1789 and is believed by this researcher to be buried at Old Burying Hill on Pond Street in Marblehead.
