Father: Abraham GROGGDaniel Grogg was the first born of Abraham and Anna Grogg’s children. It has not been determined if he was born in Stark or Crawford County as his birthdate is during a time when the family was supposedly in the transition of moving to Crawford County. On 17 February 1859 he Married Harriet Crall, daughter of Henry Crall (presumably the Henry Crall whose land adjoined Abraham Grogg’s and upon which was stood Crall’s Church) and received land as a wedding present from his father. Daniel stayed in Liberty Township and raised a family, farming like his father.
